"Mark Wilsons in the World" WebRing

What's This?

How did this come about?  Well, one day I tried listening to the internet feed from KFOG, a local radio station.  Very cool, you get to listen to the radio over the internet.  The sound's not great, and it did cut out a few times, but otherwise it is pretty impressive.  Before hearing the netcast, you first hear a short advertisement.  The one I heard was from simplenet.com, a domain name registration service.  Out of curiosity, I checked "markwilson.com" and found that it's taken.   I tried some other "dots" and found that there's a markwilson.co.uk.  I had a look at both sites (very nice) and sent them "hello!" emails.  The .com Mark replied that he'd had many other Marks (mostly white and into music and computers) contact him and was thinking of listing them on his site.  I jokingly suggested a web ring, and the rest is history...

...albeit not the kind of history your grandchildren are going to find out about in school...
